the problem is ai making things too easy.
easy things don't leave deep impressions.
no pain, no gain.
think for yourself, solve the problem without help. Ai is encouraging learned dependence.
It is useful as a helper, but relying on it too early will actually erode your problem solving ability.
read and study things outside of Sololearn, too. One platform cannot teach you everything.
understand, don't memorize.
you forget what you only memorize. understanding is ingrained knowledge.

write lots of code.
do not copy paste.
practice, practice, practice writing, running and debugging code.
it's like learning a foreign language or playing a musical instrument.
You have to keep practicing to become good at it. Just knowing the basics and the theory is not enough to become fluent. do it until it becomes second nature.

Rohan Khanna ,
i agree with Gulshan Mahawar that you should share the code you are talking about here.
> as a first step we should review and fix the *existing exercise* that is causing you trouble. we can support you with hints and tips so that you will be able to resolve all the exising issues.
> then continue the same process with other codes that may have issues.

What specific error are you talking about, Can you elaborate your question by providing the code and the issue you are facing?

Start coding with something simple.
Then work your way up to complex stuff.
I highly recommend starting with web ( HTML, CSS and Javascript). It's more engaging to learn.
Make a vow, to code something everyday ( doesn't matter small or big)
Sololearn is a great excuse to code everyday.

Rohan Khanna ,it's ok to make errors, that's how we learn. We try, we fail, we fix and we try again – like it's on loop.
While there's no (as far as my knowledge goes) such miracle method like "Follow *this* and you'll never have bugs in your codes", you can always work through the codes step by step and fix those bugs.
I think we can help you better if you could provide your code or specify your problem.

Bob_Li couldn't agree more!
AI generated code is a big headache for softwate Industry. I have been in this Industry for 10+ years now and often hire college graduates and even senior devs.
One problem, I am seeing across the board is - the code commits are coming in without technical ownership.
This has huge "TechDebt" implications.
Not surprised this is also a potential learning challenge for folks who couldn't write that code.

i think you should focus more on how the code is written

Bob_Li I have started doing practices. I use chatgpt to provide peoble and goes with hit n trial method, till the code goes perfect. But, when I try to do the same problem after few days, alas! I forgot, how have cracked it before?! I kept on thinking ;-; makeing me spend lot of time on revision and up! I get frustrated being in this loop!

Ushasi Bhattacharya I totally agree with you but being struck in this loop creates a mess! I'm trying to do as much as possible...

Epic Farhan yes, I am doing it like crazy...!

Morpheus I guess, I got your point. I think, I have to be more patient and consistent in this to master it.

Rohan Khanna Take your tour threw the different coding, scripting, querying, etc. languages.
Look at all a little to get the bigger picture.
Try what fits your needs and feels good working with - then make a decision:
Concentrate on one or two paths (maybe one server-, one client sided focus if you wanna do more, but it's also totally (al-)right to stick with one language at a time) and most important:
UNDERSTAND what YOUR CODE does!
It won't bring you far, let writing code and/or code bricks you aren't able to keep up with and don't know what it does in it's very core ->
line by line,
by line,
by line,
by line.
When something is unclear, look it up on one of the thousands of helpful sources besides coding apps, like W3Schools, MDN Web Docs, Stack Overflow, GeeksforGeeks, etc., etc. |
watch YT Videos if that works better for you.

There are soooo many ways to learn and have a lot of fun with it at the same time.
I hope you find your flow, passion, compassion and serenity in coding. :<|》

And Ushasi Bhattacharya is totally right here:
Bugs are there.
Period.
They are in the most elegant high-level languages, they are there in all the loosely and strictly typed languages, they were there back in Pascal, BASIC or the Zuse 1 and even on the Abacus.
Also the Hubble Telescope had a "Bug" for 2 years, if you say so... ;<|}
And facing the enourmous amounts of data prevalent on this world (and swirling all around it) we will have bugs as long there is anything technical were a moth could land on or in and interrupt the calculation process.
[True Story why it's called "bug": https://www.dbvis.com/thetable/why-are-they-called-bugs/ ]
And that is totally O.K.
No one will ever be 'bug-free'.
'What can I learn from this bug now?' is then the question here.
It's a chance to evolve.

Gulshan Mahawar it's not specific upto a single code... I mostly face this issue when trying to write clean and working code.
