Good question. My opinion is because starting here is easy and you can learn basic concepts quickly while on the move via mobile without feeling overwhelmed compared to other sites. Some users choose to pay merely as support for the company, while others believe they are receiving something worthwhile in return. Additionally, it offers access to a community that shares our interests.
